Our Purpose of Being Created by God, Youichino Kaibuchi

God's economy is God's sovereign arrangement to dispense Himself into His chosen people so that they may be conformed to His image with His life and nature to constitute the Body of Christ which consummates the New Jerusalem in eternity (Eph. 3:17; Rom. 8:29; Eph. 1:20-23; Rev. 21:2, 9-10). I began to appreciate the desire of His heart through the Training. Although one may gain a lot of knowledge concerning the truth and have some subjective experience of Christ, the main thing to get through the Training is that Christ is everything to us.

The Lord gives us a certain situation, which we cannot manage by our natural inborn capacity. God is the Creator. He knows everything, including our needs (Matthew 6:32b-33). Therefore, He arranges the environment to make us realize that we cannot make it without depending on Him. God ordains everything (Rom. 8:28-30).

I was born in Japan twenty-seven years ago. I was saved and baptized through my mother. I came to the United States for a college education, and through God's sovereignty I contacted the local church. When I was a college student, I with other Christian brothers. Experiences of Christ with them stirred up my heart to come to the Full-Time Training in Anaheim (FTTA). When I look back on the pathway I have walked, I feel strongly that this was not something I planned or manipulated. The way I came to the Training was opened and arranged by God Himself. It is totally His mercy and love that sustains me to this day. I now have a strong sense that my life belongs to the Lord.

In the meantime, I have come to realize that it is important for me to be open to the Lord because He is always ready to dispense Himself whenever I turn to Him. The problem is that many times, I am not willing to open myself to Him. The Lord cannot grow in me if I am not open to His dispensing. In order for me to be mature in life and to be a useful vessel to carry out His plan, I need to cooperate with Him. I have to give Him the ground to grow. As long as I hold on to my thought, concept, natural self, I remain the same. Even when the Lord gives me a certain situation out of His love and mercy, if I am closed, trying to manage it by my own capacity, and do not contact the Lord confessing that I need Him and we cannot make it without Him, that opportunity is wasted and I lose the opportunity to gain Him.

As Genesis 1:26 indicates we are created in God's image to contain Him. My life is in His hands. He can do whatever He wants in me. I am here to give my life to Him.
